I'ts raining and cold outside what should I have for dinner?!
Answers: fish-n-chips or something I create
Put on a pot of chili and let it cook all day so you can enjoy the anticipation.
Mac and cheese
How about a nice pot of chili or shepherds pie, something warm and homey. Even a pot of soup and fresh bread would be good, especially on a damp cold day.
i would get a nice pot of soup going to help offset the weather...
Create some soup ..I like hot soup and hot sandwiches on a cold rainy day..good luck.
some chili or something that will keep you warm
BLT's and Macaroni and Cheese...(has to be velveta though!) It is quick and easy!!
Home made Fish 'n Chips sound good to me, I'll bring some beer.
Perhaps a piping hot wongoonoo slipped between inviting lips? :)))
Lamb stew with carrots, potatoes and little breakfast sausages. Buttermilk biscuts, steamed green beans and a hearty cab to drink.

good dinner
Well since it's raining & cold you wont want to be going outside. Do you have a roast of beef or ground beef minced in the house? Good a big pot of stew will hit the spot. I don't know how many you are cooking for. Personally right now I have a minced stew on the stove. I am cooking for one but it will do me twice. In any event you can add more if there are more for dinner. For 4 or 5 people I would add dumplings but I'm by myself so I wont.
Ground beef stew for 1 or 2.
1/2 lb ground beef (if you have pork sausages add 2 cut up or take them out of their skins) in 2 cups cold water + salt to taste. Bring the pot to the boil & reduce to simmer and add
1 small turnip sliced, 1 carrot cubed, 1 medium onion, quartered, 1 potato cubed and 2 quartered brussels sprouts or a slice of cabbage chopped up. Add one teaspoon of barley. Simmer until supper time, about 2 - 3 hours from now. If you want to, add a little bisto gravy powder for extra flavour. I am having a slice of fresh crusty bread with the stew.
If you don't feel up to throwing on a stew. Fish & Chips sound pretty good to me.
tea and cookies with a blanket and a good movie lol
On days like that the New England style Quahog Clam Chowder from The Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven, MA is what I go for. The recipe is available in their cookbook. Add to that a few warm "Crusty French Rolls" with some "Double Devon Cream Butter" and I promise, you will not be disappointed.
Chicken soup. Warms the soul
