Steamed with pepper and a little bit of butter. YUM!

Yes, steamed.

Raw asparagus is great.....if you havent tried it you should. Deep fried asparagus is very good too....

Sautee in butter for several minutes.

Roasted! Mmmm! I like asparagus roasted and I wrap 2-3 stalks in a slice of proscuitto and/or shave some parmesan on top to sserve.

steamed is great, or you can saute fresh asparagus with olive oil, garlic, pepper and thyme. It is great. If you like mushrooms you can also do the same thing with them.

NEVER STEAM THEM! it ruins them and kills their flavour, fried in butter is best

Roasted on the grill

Sauted , Or Boiled are my favorite , but steamed is great too...

I dont think you can go wrong with asparagus haha.

Asparagus are also great in a stir-fry.

I LOVE fresh Asparagus. I boil until tender then add butter, flour and milk to make a white sauce and serve on toast. So yummy...

Asparagus au Gratin. Blanch asparagus, make bechamel or alfredo, pour sauce over layered asparagus, top with freshly grated parmesan and brown lightly in a broiler. Season with salt and white pepper.

I like to make a packet out of tin foil by putting the asparagus down on the foil, salting and peppering them after tossing them in some olive oil, maybe adding a bit of garlic powder, then i fold over the top a couple times (like a brown paper lunch bag) and then fold the sides up to make a packet. Throw it on the grill for a few minutes and your asparagus will come out beautifully roasted and cooked to perfection.

This sound nuts, but it is really good. Wash it, put about 1/4 cup butter in a skillet and SLOWLY heat it in a skillet. When it is just about done, sprinkle a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar and let it melt. Stir to coat and serve.

broiled (with olive oil, salt, and pepper) is amazing. Also, try making a sauce with cream and camembert cheese and warming the asparagus in that. You can also by it pickled, which is pretty good.
