Teriyaki Chicken
* 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
* 1/4 tsp powder onion
* 1/4 tsp powder garlic
* 1/2 c diced bell pepper
* 1/2 c diced onion
* 2 large chicken breast
* water
* 1/4 cup cornstarch

Fry the chicken and cut in bite size pieces till done. Add onion, bell pepper and seasonings. Add terriyaki sauce and enough water to cover mixture. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Just before serving add cornstarch to thicken the sauce.




Chicken Teriyaki

1/2 Cup GF Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Dry White Wine
1 Crushed Clove of Garlic
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Powdered Ginger
2 1/2 lb Frying Chicken, cut up
Combine together the soy sauce, wine, garlic, sugar and ginger. Stir well. Place
the chicken in a large Ziplock bag and pour the marinade over the chicken.
Refrigerate and let the chicken marinate for approx 2 hours. Transfer the
chicken to a baking dish and cook at 350 degrees until the chicken is done. This
chicken also turns out very nicely on the grill.




Baked Chicken Teriyaki
8 chicken thighs
* 1/2 cup teriyaki marinade
* 2 tsp of fresh grated ginger
* 1 tbsp clear honey
* 4 chopped scallions
* 2 medium red peppers, quartered and seeded
* 3 small zucchini, cut into quarters lengthwise


PREPARATION:


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Place chicken thighs in a roasting tin in a single layer.

Combine teriyaki marinade with ginger, honey and scallions. Pour over
chicken; turn the pieces to coat them evenly.

Bake chicken for 25 minutes, turning once halfway through.

Add vegetables, coating them in the marinade.

Bake for a further 15-20 minutes until chicken and vegetables are tender.




Teriyaki Chicken Breasts

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
2 Tbl. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Mix the soy sauce, water, sugar, ginger and garlic powder in a
shallowbowl. Add chicken and marinate for 1 to 2 hours in the
refrigerator. Drain chicken and discard marinade.

Barbecue: Start barbecue. When hot, place chicken on grill. Close
hood andcook for 8-10 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through
the cookingtime. Be sure to cook until chicken is no longer pink.

Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake, uncovered, for
25-30minutes until chicken is no longer pink.
