I have this cake recipe that says it should be made in a "small brownie pan" What size of pan would this be?!

Question: I'm confused by this. It looks like a good recipe, I just don't know what kind of pan to use. Any ideas?

Probably a 9"x9".

9" square

probably a 9 x 9 pan.

8" x 8"

Probably an 8"x 8".

I'd say 8"x8" or 9"x9", either one.

Usually this is a 9x9 pan.

either an 8" by 8" or a 9" by 9" square pan

It would probably be an 8x8 or 9x9 square cake pan. Hope this helps.

I am guessing an 8x8 mpan, which would be a small square pan and come out perfect sized or a 8x11 pan, which would be more rectangular and the brownie would come out like a bit thinner.

A small brownie pan is a 9" x 9" pan. A metal one would be best for a cake.

8x8 or 9x9 will do just fine. I'm sure your cake will turn out just fine so have fun and enjoy baking. It's much more fun than cooking.

I;m Almost Certain It;s 9x9"

It really doesn't matter what type of pan you use as long as you know how much the recipe will make. A brownie pan is usually 8 x 8. But you could use a 13 x 9 if you double the recipe, or you could use a round 8 inch or 9 inch pan, etc. I would try it with the 8 x 8 pan to see exactly how much it makes then next time you will know what you want and if you need to double the recipe to get more cake.... Good Luck.

Yeah, 8x8 or 9x9 inches with 2" sides.

Sounds like your typical 8x8" pan.

8x8x2
