Make 4 peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
Soak sandwiches in egg mixture until all or most of the egg mixture has been absorbed.

Cut french toast into diagonals and sprinkle with icing sugar when serving.
If desired, drizzle with honey or maple syrup.

Do it like Paula Dean does.

She gets her bread of choice and spreads each piece with peanut butter, slices banana and puts it on the bread. Makes a sandwich and whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon,. Dip the sandwich fully covered in the egg bath and have the frying pan ready to put it in with a pat or two of butter.

Fry up both sides to a golden brown and enjoy.

And actually I believe she adds cream cheese to her also. You know Paula loves that butter and cream cheese.

The grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich was a favorite of Elvis and she made her own version of it on her show.
