What, in general, adds more flavor to foods. Is it salt.. or butter?!

usually butter already has salt in it..but if the butter was saltless it wouldnt taste so good...so i say salt

salt adds or enhances flavor.
butter adds richness.

Seeing as fat adds flavor as well as texture I'd have to say butter, since it also already has salt in it.

salt but if u use unsalted butter use salt and if u use salted butter use butter. u can get both great tastes

salt... since you get butter with and without salt too... actually both are entirely different things with different uses...

I'd put it this way, if I had to give one up forever, I'd give up butter. Food would be definitely bland without salt.
