I'm wondering if we're remotely talking about a possible pate here.....which I love to eat and snack on. But, liver spread can also be good with:

1. Chopped hard cooked eggs and chopped red onion with mayonaise on dark rye bread or pumpernickel.
2. Mix with bread crumbs, chopped parsley, chopped red onion, minced dill pickles, goat cheese and spread on flank steak before rolling it up. Tie with bakers twine and roast until cooked thru. Serve with a cabernet reduction.
3. Saute liverwurst in butter until browned on both sides, serve on romaine lettuce with goat cheese and a dijon vinagrette.
4. Hollow out zuchinni and mix zuchinni with liver spread, chopped onion, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and fill zuchinni shells. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees until fork tender.

Good luck!

liver and eggs

Why would anyone eat that?

Add dog food and feed it to the dog.

wtf? that's gross!

If you are referring to braunschweiger or liverwurst..

it makes the best sandwich with good bread, especially rye, lots of butter, good mustard and a nice slice of onion.

yummo

Saute one medium, finally chopped onion. Add one small thinly chopped potato to cook. Add pinch of salt and one small green pepper according to taste. Turn off the heat. Now mix 1 to 2 table spoon liver paste with rest of ingredients. Remove from the heating plate. Sprinkle with Finally chopped coriander leaves and serve.
You can serve in a wrap or just in sandwich.
enjoy!

get some nice french bread... spread some butter on it, then spread the liver paste ontop of it and put it in the oven.

it is actually good... i've tried it and i make it at home occasionally... ;D enjoy!

Make some beef, chicken or pork stew. When ti is done, add the liver spread to thicken and flavor the gravy.

Experiment with pate added to spaghetti sauce.

In the Philippines, we add it to a stew made from leftover Lechon (whole roast pig), vinegar, garlic, saffron and bay leaves with brown sugar.
