no specific recipes, but some tips;
make up recipes in large batches and freeze portions, put in the freezer immediately (less being around the food).

make soups, punches, really good smoothies (low cal, of course but really nutricous, milk, yogurt, fresh fruit juice, lots of ice.

do NOT go on a diet, they don't work, use portion control and exercise instead.

plan on having food for snacks, veggies, a few fruits, nothing with flour or white sugar in it. do NOT have these items ready to eat. if there is preperation. involved, it becomes less handy for immediate consumption.

don;t eat after 8:00, or after your supper. let someone else clear up, so you won't be tempted to eat the leftovers, or uneaten portions of cleared plates ( throwing this food away is not wasteful-do you really need to carry these extra calories forever? they are so much harder to lose that not to eat in the first place).

fix less food to begin with, your family will eat more of them, and there will be fewer leftovers. make dinners of food you don't like, but your family does.

brush your teeth after eating (yes, every time). will reduce cravings for the food you just ate, will taste good, and is a real bother.

walk at least for 30 minutes EVERY day. this does NOT include your normal walking during the day. make it a family affair. walk in an enclosed area, (mall, gym, large store) if the weather is inclement.

reward yourself for good behavior, but not with food. take a bubble bath, watch a special movie, watch Oprah, read a trashy novel. look forward to this treat. you can spend lots of time deciding on your treat (time NOT spent eating or even thinking about food.

get your family to be your support system. join a weight loss group. it's embarrasing to not lose weight when others are watching.

find pictures of thin women (not anarorexic), put in a photo album and look through it when necessary (one picture on the fridg. isn't enough it's too easy to ignore. put it in a very obvious place with easy access.

if having trouble exercising is troublesome, find a BUDDY to join you. it's less easy to slack off if someone else is depending on YOUR participation.

buy ONE pair of jeans which are slightly too small (much too small make might make you lose motivation) and try them on often.

lose the sodas. drink ice water instead, all you want.

use sugar substituces if you care to. not all the time, but if you crave a really sweet dessert. you can also use both sugar and substitute for the calories you body will know you are doing without.

eat breakfast-eat in the morning like a king; at lunch like a sane person; and at supper like a pauper.

develop a new body image in your head. strive to be that person. learn something new, gives you a reason to feel better about your self. you are improving your mind along witth your body.

be extra good to yourself. if you break training (ONCE IN A WHILE), don't beat yourself up. it happens to the best of us. just get back on track immediately.

hope these tips work for you. i know i won't get best answer because i didn't really answer your question, i just gave you reasons to lose weight, but sometimes the words of encouragement and experience are better than all the diet recipes on the web.

won't your family love to see the new you?

fruit veggies more often. water .and, dont eat late at night that helped me ....thanks.
