I either buy pre-cooked Italian sausages or boil them, if they're raw, before putting them on the grill. That way they don't have to be on very long and only need to be heated through to get that grilled flavor.

Put the heat on medium, watch them./ Love grilled sausage, careful. Lots of fat, thats why they burn.

Italian sausage has a lot of fat so it will cause flares if you let it. Try using indirect heat to cook the sausage and allow most of the fat to run off, then just brown it at the end over direct heat.

precook in boiling water or wine, then when almost done- put on the grill works every time!

Turn the heat down drastically after searing them on the grill. Or try cooking them inside first and then grilling for just a few minutes for the grill "flavor."

I always precook in a little water for 15 minutes and then brown in the pan or on the grill.... you want that pork cooked.

try adding a few to your next spagetti just fry up with your normal mince(remove the skin)yummmmmmmmm
other than that boil em then lightly grill em after you have finished just put them on a lower shelf in the oven that may help ...

Could try boiling it (in beer) a little so it wont have to be on the grill as long

Medium high heat with oil... quick toss on all sides.
