Campbells soup????!
Answers: the other day my husband was making himself some chicken noodle soup and asked me how the meat in there doesnt go bad when it sits in the can forever and i told him it was because it was sealed but the more i thought about it it kinda made me wonder to because canned food can sit for a long time before you open and and i was curious if anyone knew???
Meat goes bad because of bacteria in the air. If you remove all the air, the meat will keep for years. Cans are airtight so the meat keeps just fine.
ton's of preservative's
you are right sealing something airtight will make it last, once opened it will start to be subjected to things which will make it go off, such as room temperature and simply the air around us. but i bet if you look on the can its also filled with tons of preservatives to make it last to.
kinda puts you off when you read all the weird stuff that's in those cans!!
better make some from scratch- doesn't last as long but at least it tastes good and it all natural.
The cans are vacuum sealed.(No air in the can)Plus they are cooked under pressure.
it is not real meat but meat extract and artificial food substance material number 23.
Preservatives are added. And the can is sealed. Can you taste "tin" in any canned products? I certainly do. Fresh is better.
