HOME FRIES WITH PEPPERS AND ONIONS
2 1/2 pounds red skinned potatoes
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tablespoon grill seasoning (recommended: McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning)
2 teaspoons sweet paprika
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
Coarsely chop potatoes and transfer to a nonstick cookie sheet. Toss with oil, peppers, onions and seasonings and place in the oven 25 minutes, turning twice with spatula. Serve hot.

Home-Fried Potatoes - Serves 4

4 red potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, cool cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium high heat. Add onion and green pepper. Cook, stirring often, until soft; about 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Pour remaining 2 tablespoons of oil into the skillet and turn heat to medium-high. Add potato cubes, salt, paprika and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are browned; about 10 minutes. Stir in the onions, green peppers and parsley and cook for another minute. Serve hot.

chop up some onions and peppers along with some potatoes. put some olive oil on a cookie sheet. put the tators, onions and peppers on the sheet. sprinkle with season salt and bake in the oven at 350 for 25 mins. mmmmm delicious

Cut your fries, peppers, and onions. In a fry pan, heat about 3/4-1" of oil. Drop the fries in and cook them ... when they are out of the oil, drop the peppers in and cook those until they are tender, then scoop them out and drop the onions into the oil. Mix them and put the plate into the oven on 'warm' for about 1/2 hour so the flavors 'blend' ... serve.

don't make fries..be a health concious by now..

If you want green peppers and onions, throw them in with the potatoes. That's fairly easy.

Here's what my mom does and I used to do:

3 russett potatoes - sliced
1/2 yellow onion - sliced
1/2 green bell pepper - diced

Put oil in your pan to cover the bottom. Once the oil is hot, add a layer of the potatoes, then onions and then bell pepper. Repeat until all are used. Put your lid on for 3 minutes and then turn all over and cover again for 3-5 minutes. Make sure your heat isn't too high so it doesn't burn the onions. Once the potatoes have started to get soft, remove the lid and cook until the potatoes get crunchy on the bottom - again make sure you don't get it too hot to burn your onions. Keep turning them - they will break apart - don't worry about that. My mother called these Home Fries or Raw Fries.

Enjoy!

...well cut up those potatoes into french fry style and marinade them into brine,,,, that is a salt and water solution.... it's just simply water with salt...for about an hour...hope that helps...^_^

make them in frying pan instead of chip pan or fryer, leave skin on and cut more into wedges and fry with sliced onions and green peppers, with plenty of seasoning plus a touchof garlic and chilli powder, depending on how much you can handle

this is what i do: peel and cut the potatoes as even as you can and pretty small. then i put them in a frying pan with pam or olive oil. while they are cooking i take a onion and slice it really thin. i dont use a certain amount just go with what you think. i like a lot of onion so i use a lot. then i use hot pepper instead of green peppers but just slice them up and then when the potaotes are getting brown i put my onions and peppers salt and pepper. let it cook...slowly is better. add some paprika. sometimes i put them in the oven when they are almost done and they get a little crispy sometimes i just cook them on the stove..

Why yes I do have a recipe. You will need the following:

Potatoes cut like fires

Green peppers diced or cut to preferance

Onions chopped diced or ring

Cooking oil and a pan

Put all this together and wamo Home fries

PS Tell no one

POTATOES

Peel and slice your potato's into thin slices.Place in pan with butter and oil both.Cover and turn potatos a few times. When you think there about half done, uncover them and fry while turning once or twice.Add chopped peppers and onions 15 mins.before potatos are done,or saute them in a seperate pan. Then mix into your fried potatos and serve.
Season with salt and pepper while frying.Seasoned salt is good also.
If you add the peppers and onions with your potatos in the beginning, they are going to be dark brown or black by the time the potatos get done.

That's my favorite!!!
