Whats the worst food you ever tasted mine was coca cola flavoured crisp in the eighties :(?!

Question: i can still taste em now

Answers: i can still taste em now

Strangely the the only food that spring to mind is a chocolate pudding thing.
Now don't get me wrong, I love chocolate and I love pudding but my Mum had bought this from farmfoods (aka the freezer shoppie) and it was heated in the microwave in a small plastic tub. That should have been warning enough, I suppose, but I was only young at the time, I think about 8ish.
This pudding was the single most foul thing I have EVER eaten and even thinking about it gives me a wretched feeling. I remember it vividly, and it had the exact texture of an old fashioned bath sponge (don't tell me you've never bitten a sponge at bath time as a kid) it was really porous and soft but impossible to bite through.
Have you ever tasted coco powder before its made into a yummy biscuit or drink? You know the bitter horrid flavour it has? Well add the taste of stomach bile and stick a sponge in your mouth and you will know how I felt that fateful day.
I think what made it a million times worse is that my mum, being my mum, made me eat the whole thing even though I was crying because it was so rank... she thought I was having a fuss over nothing but I still to this day class it as the most horrific thing I have eaten ever. There must have been something wrong with it, perhaps not cooked or over cooked or off ingredients, I can't tell you, I just know that it was wrong that it tasted so foul.

MINGING!
To this day I will not eat puddings of any sort from a plastic tub and I am suspicious of farmfoods.

Ironically, they served "Deep Fried Coke" at the State Fair here in California last year! Didn't even get close to trying that, nor do I care to in the future. Worst food???? I can still remember my mom's stewed tomatos with zuchinni and white bread......what a god-awful combo that was.....and then there's canned peas that taste like lead and have a texture of cooked baby poop. Yup....gotta luv em!

I had some real stinky French cheese- it tasted like sweatsocks and the taste just lingered for the whole day.

those cola crisps sound really manky - i remember when they brought out chocolate coated crisps in the late 80's. they were vile too.

other than that, the worst thing i tasted was a vegetarian sweet & sour meal that an ex boyfriend's mother served up for dinner once. it tasted like jam and vinager mixed together... it still amazes me that i managed to get through that meal without being sick... amazing what u will put up with when u are trying to impress your partner's parents !

Old hard goat cheese out of an old persian mans pocket when i was working in Iran 1976. He offered it to me and broke off a piece of it with a rusty knife for me to sample. I thought I would hurl. I still can't eat or smell goat cheese 32 years later.

Coca Cola the cherry flavour.

Sweat breads.... ewww!

Liver and onions. Lima Beans are a close second.

that sounds odd. might be good. I wish they made those in America. I would just have to say dried fruit like raisins or prunes or dates. yuck!

Rice noodles, can't stand their texture for some reason. First spoonful I had, had me running to the toilet, couldn't eat anything else at all that day. I tried again later on, but I had the same reaction, so I keep well away from them.

The fish and chips shop crisps in the shape of fish yuk.
Thanks for reminding me lol.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.

My dad brought home a packet of chocolate flavoured crisps once (in the 80's or early 90's). They were pretty awful!!
