Can I serve potatoes with this?!

Question: I am having an entree of stuffed pork chops, the stuffing is risotto-style stuffing (has rice). Can I make a side of potatoes with it? (skillet corn & potatoes)

You can, but it's a lot of starch. I'd serve it with your salad and a lighter vegetable or two. If you do serve it with potatoes, I'd skip the bread/rolls.

sounds good

Not really, suppose to .... suppose to make one or the other....But I would.I make what I like.I don't do so good following rules!!!

Sure! My hubby likes potatoes with almost everything. He likes potatoes on the side with spaghetti and lasanga. I make a spicey rice and beef dish he likes to put on top of mashed potatoes.

I think I'd make a veggie side dish, rather than a starchy side dish. And serve a salad with it.

That would be two carbs then. I would opt for a side of veggies, like a broccoli gratin and a salad.

yeah i agree...too starchy, opt for a green veg like asparagus, spinach, or green beans and a salad

I wouldnt.. a salad or roasted veggies.. but i suppose if its actually a side dish... it would be ok.,.. then they can take it or leave it... but many carb choices never looks good.

rice has starch and potatoes have starch
but you can serve chunk steam Apple's
with cinnamon

Sure you can. Sounds good to me!

The rissotto stuffing is probably minimal unless ur serving 2 per plate. But still, skillet potatoes w/corn are good. The salad w/ tom, cuke, anything else you can add should cover all the food groups.
