baked at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes to 45 minutes depending thickness of chicken.

YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO PUT THE POTATOES IN AFTER THE BOIL ANYWAY LADY

The easiest recipes for chicken are using campbell's cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup. Just add with pasta or rice. You can even make casserole. Just add vegetables of your choice and some extra paprika or cayenne for a burst of flavor!

its okay sweet pea, turn off the potatoes for now. If its chicken breast you have coat them in seasoned plain flour (salt & pepper in the flour)then grill them gently until about half way cooked, then turn your potatoes back on to rapid boil, turn down so they still bubble but dont boil over, by the time the potaoes are done your chicken should be too...have a lovely meal and well done for trying so hard and asking advice

Keep in mind you can put your mashed potatoes in a crock pot to keep warm for up to 2 hours.

But, for your chicken - if using chicken breasts, pound to make equal in thickness across the whole piece. Sprinkle with black pepper and some garlic powder and dust lightly with flour. Lightly brown in a skillet with a little oil (or sprayed). Turn over and lightly brown the other side. Then put in your oven on 350o and bake for 15 minutes.

If you are using a different piece, remove the bones and cut it off the bones to make it flat. Pound it to make it even.

It's very good and should go great with your potatoes.

My fave and most easiest recipe. Put 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a crockpot on low for approx 6-8 hours. Add a small can of pineapples and 1/2 cup barbeque sauce. Pour over white rice. Delicious and quite healthy for you. Good luck.

Do you have boneless chicken breasts? Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan, add a chopped clove of garlic and a half teaspoon of an herb (basil, oregano, thyme, Italian seasoning, Greek seasoning, Mrs Dash, Lemon pepper, etc) and cook over medium heat for five minutes, then add the chicken breasts, cooking until brown on one side then turning. Total time about 25 minutes. If it starts to get dry add 1/4 cup of chicken broth.

Best of luck.

If you are using chicken breast, lemon pepper is always a good pairing with bold flavors such as garlic and onions. Sprinkle lemon pepper(not a lot just enough to season the chicken on both sides) or lemon juice and sprinkled pepper on your chicken. Set aside on a plate. Spray your pan with cooking spray or drizzle with a little olive oil or any other oil(make sure to move the pan around during the heating to coat the pan with the oil), set your pan to medium temperature, wait about 5 minutes to get heated, then using some tongs or a spatula, place your chicken breast in the pan and cook on each side for at least 7 minutes or so until no longer pink. The chicken can be cooked also with sliced onions. If you are using lemon juice, make sure to splash some on the chicken every couple minutes to retain the lemon flavor.

Salsa chicken wraps! Just cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, coat a hot pan with some cooking oil, add some chopped onions and garlic for flavor, and cook your chicken to 165 degrees F (should be white all through). Then add a bit of your favorite salsa to the pan. Once it heats up, it's done! Wrap it up in a tortilla with your favorite fixings. Easy chicken recipe. Experiment with what you have in your kitchen. Good luck!

Roast chicken

Here's my guaranteed version

1. Cut a chicken through the backbone and flatten it.
2. Brown it skin side down in about 3 tablespoons of butter in a dutch oven.
3. Throw some chopped up aromatic vegetable (carrots, onions/leeks, celery) in the pan, lay the chicken breast side up over them, sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, and herbs like thyme and rosemary.
4. Cover and roast in a 325 degree oven for 40 minutes.
