"idiot cookie" recipe?!
anyone have any idea what these are really called? or a recipe for something like this?
Answers: ok, so my mother in law made these awesome cookies for xmas, she called them "idiot cookies" because her mother used to make them and said you would have to be an idiot to sit and make those cookies.... they have some sort of flat mint chocolate chip in them. and when you make them you wrap the dough around each mint chip...

MINT SURPRISE COOKIES
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
9 oz. pkg. solid chocolate mint candy wafers (Andes mints)
48 to 60 walnut halves
Sift flour, soda and salt. Cream butter. Add sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beat well. Blend in dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Cover, chill at least 2 hours.
Mold a rounded teaspoonful of dough around each candy wafer. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Top each with a walnut half. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes, until golden.

but i have a recipe that any idiot can do..makes really good peanut butter cookies
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
mix all togher and drop by teaspoon fulls on UNGREASED baking sheet. no need to flatten. Bake at 350 for about 10 mins. do not overbake or they will be hard.
and yes that's the only ingredients it takes.
