Can peanut butter be substituted for egg in cookies?!
Do I have to go out and buy 6 eggs just so I have one to use, or will the peanut butter add enough sticky stuff? It also requires oil and water so should be pretty moist.
Answers: I have some cookie mix. I want to add peanut butter to it. It also calls for an egg.

u need the egg. go knock on neighbours door for an egg, then return with 6 cookies back.
You still need the egg.
you MUST have eggs, sorry.... peanut butter will not bake the same as eggs, ...(lol)
no the eggs used to bind, peanut butter cant do that
eggs add a raising agent as well as a binding agent. PB will melt and do the opposite.
No you need an egg. An egg doesn't add moistness it holds the cookie together. And, no, the peanut butter won't be enough to hold it.
you can't substitute the egg with peanut butter !
No,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,..........................
As the others said, you can't substitute it. Find a recipe SPECIFICALLY for peanut butter cookies, or add some peanut butter to a milkshake.
No idea!! but when you DO make these..let me know the outcome would you dear?
