How do you open a jar?!

Question: YOu twist!

Answers: YOu twist!

Twist the cork!!! You're funny!

I twist the lid until it comes off. If that doesn't work, I whack it on the side of a counter or run hot water on it. Then try twisting again.

Wack it with a butter knife first! LOL

I usually twist the lid clockwise. If it's stuck, I use a rubber pad to grip it better, and last, I whack the edges of the lid with the handle of a butter knife to loosen it up a tad. Others use those fancy store-bought electric openers..

When my hands

Lightly tap around the edge of the lid & then try to open it.You can also put on a rubber glove. It has a better grip.

untwist the top to the lefy, and then wait 4 a minute and try again

Hold the lid of the jar under hot water running from the tap. If the jar has any sugar type sticky contents, it will soften and allow you to open the jar. Sometimes this works even if the contents aren't sticky so try it and twist using a damp cloth to increase grip.

I hit the bottom of it, then I twist it. The hit on the bottom makes it easier.
