Does anyone have a recipe for Salsa Con Queso?!

Question: Melt 1 box of Velveeta cheese in crock pot. Add 1 cup milk (more or less). Add to taste: jalapeno chiles (dice small) to your liking (with a little juice). Medium to spicy is best for "Gringo" taste buds.

Salsa (red) to taste
Onion flakes to taste
Garlic powder to taste

You can add ground cooked beef to this also.
Freezes well.I use to make it for Christmas gifts in canning jars.

Chili Con Queso

1-16 oz package mild Mexican-flavored processed cheese product with or without jalapeno pepper
1 1/2 cups thick and chunky salsa
Tortilla chips, for serving

Cut the cheese into cubes. Place in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Mix in the salsa.
Cover and cook on the low setting 1 1/2 hours, stirring once or twice, until the cheese has melted and is smooth.
Remove the lid, increase the setting to high and cook 1 to 1 1/4 hours longer, or until the mixture is hot throughout. Serve with the tortilla chips for dipping.

Crock pot or microwave

Velveeta cheese
1 can of Ro*Tel Tomatos - Spicy

Typically use 1 can for every 3-4 oz of velveeta. I like lots of tomato (if you aren't as big on tomato maybe 1 can every 6 ounces.). Hot Ro*Tel is very spicy so be careful.

If doing in microwave cut the velveeta up first so it melts down faster. You will need to stir it up every few minutes.
