Does peanut butter really contain butter?!


Question: No, it is just ground up peanuts with maybe a little oil added,,,although peanuts are quite oily when ground up...that is all that should be in it but the manufactures can add a lot of preservatives,,,including salt and sugar....

Homemade is so much better,,,you can make it in your food processor....we just made pine nut butter.....you do need to parch the nuts first though....almonds are also good...and hazelnuts....Homemade does have to be kept in the refrigerator though.....
