Recipe for making Advocaat?!
Answers: I made Advocaat many years ago using eggs, sugar, lemons, evaporated milk and brandy. I remember, putting whole eggs in bowl covered with lemon juice and turning daily for 5 days and the shells dissloved. I do not remember quantities of ingredients. I think it made 2 pints advocaat. Can anyone help?
Take :
one bus/car/walk
one off-licence
one ten-pound note
ask politely
place bottle of advocaat in shopping bag
go home
Use pure lemon juice to clean the glass after drinking the aforementioned libation.

4 tbsp. Vanilla

Why bother with the rest of the ingredients?
Just go straight for the brandy (or vodka)
It save a lot of messing round.

Advocaat is nothing like the eggnog America. It is thick and creamy---not foamy at all.
This delicious Dutch drink is actually eaten with a spoon!
