Dinner help!!?!

Question: Okay, so I'm going to make dinner tonight and I'm thinking of angel hair pasta with lemon/garlic shrimp, lemon pepper, broccoli and a few tablespoons of white wine. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can add to this to make it taste better? I read the receipe from somewhere but don't remember where. I'm also going to make bruschetta bread on the side. Thanks.

Sounds pretty good the way you plan. I like mine with a few black olive slices. I always like freshly grated Parmagiano-Reggiano over the top. I put it on the table & let the guests serve the cheese themselves.

Thank you Report It

  • well, u could add some salt and parsley w/ a few more veggies and more shrimp

I'd skip the Lemon-Pepper. I hate that spice. JMHO

Be sure to add some butter and EVOO, and fresh chopped parsley if you have it. Reduce the sauce a bit so it's not so thin. Otherwise, it sounds good to me!

its also good to serve a side of some salad

Red pepper flakes, just a few unless you like it on fire!

How about some sugar snap peas and basil?

roasted red bell peppers! i like the ones that come in the jar with olive oil, marzetta's, but if you can't find those just roast your own! either grill or place under the broiler until blackened. i put it in a covered bowl afterwards to let steam for a few minutes, it loosens the skin making it easier to peel.

add some fresh chopped parsley. Or even some dill weed.

leave out the lemon pepper seasoning, add a little cream and butter and reduce the sauce down a bit.

Add more butter and salt to make my taste.. U know better about urs.
