Can I use chicken breast(without the bone) to make chicken soup? and do i need to use chicken broth?!
This is an excellent recipe and will answer your questions. If you do not want noodles - no problem, just skip them and you'll still have a delicious soup.
Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
Preparation time: 30 minutes. Serves 8
Ingredients:
1/4 pound fettuccine pasta, cut short (or pasta of your choice if small)
2 cups chicken, cooked and diced small
2 quarts chicken broth (fresh or canned)
1 medium carrot, diced
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
3/8 teaspoon fresh minced basil
1 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley or 4 teaspoons fresh chopped parsley
Salt and pepper, if desired
Instructions:
Cook pasta al dente (not mushy, still a little chewy)
Dice chicken into small pieces
Bring the stock to a simmer in a soup pot or stock pot
Add carrots, celery, onion, basil and simmer until vegetables are tender
If stock does not have enough flavor, add more stock and reduce (continue heating) to concentrate the flavor
Season to taste (salt, white pepper)
Add the chicken and pasta to the stock and let them heat through before serving
Correct seasoning to taste, if needed
Ladle into soup bowls
That’s it! You’ve got a winner!

yes you can i've tried it and its pretty good and about the broth YES if you want that special flavor.
you have to make a chicken stock by boiling chicken bones with vegetables and suck before making the soup.
Yes for the chicken breast and not really for the broth.
Yes, use the boneless chicken breast. Use the chicken broth. Soup isn't very good without broth.
I just boil water with some noodles, carrots, celery, parseley and chicken breast. Then I add Knor or Maggi seasoning cubes and lastly i add olive oil... umm so good and quick and delicious!
Yes, the breast is the best piece to make soup from, and if you use water instead of broth it will be horrible. Also, the best kind of noodles to use are egg noodles- make sure you get extra broad. Boil the chicken in a pot, drain half the water, add a can or two of broth, then put it back on the stove to bring to a boil. Meanwhile, shred your chicken to however big you want it. When the broth boils, put in the chicken and dump in the egg noodles, and add anything else you might want in it (boiled egg, carrots, etc.) Stir for a few minutes, put the stove on low heat, then cover the pot and let it simmer.
Sure you can, I do it all the time! You'll need to use broth or chicken-soup base, though, since you aren't making your own stock. Use lots of carrots, onion, and celery, too.
If you're in a hurry, you can pull this together in under an hour, but if you have more time, it's better to let it all just barely simmer for a few hours. If you're using noodles, don't add them till last, or they'll turn to mush.
I always add a little teriyaki sauce and hot sauce to mine, along with whatever veggies I might have around. It's never the same twice, but it's a good way to use up leftover chicken and vegetables, and it always turns out good!
yes and yes
Sure can its the best, i usually cook it then shred it and put it in. I'm sure about the broth thing, i just use liquid chicken or veg stock, works a treat. (stock cubes work too.)
