I lost my meat loaf recipe. The one that came with Quaker oats?!

Question: Since then, I've been guessing the ingredients and the amounts. Oats, ketchup, onion, egg, milk, etc. It either comes out too hard or too gooey. Anyone use that particular one? Thanks!

Quaker Oats Prize Winning Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound ground beef
3/4 cup oats, uncooked
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup tomato juice
1 egg, beaten

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and pack firmly into an ungreased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

ewwwwwww....meatloaf with oatmeal....that's pretty grody

try using Ritz cracker instead of oatmeal, replace ketchup with A-1 sauce, very little milk, grated carrots, onion,Gpepper, season with a bit of GrillMate Montreal , cook bout 45m -1 hour @ 350 top w/ketchup back in oven fro 5 min

That may be divine intervention. Who puts oats in their oatmeal??? That just sounds WRONG!
