I have just made a delicious lasagne, using best minced steak,?!
Answers: smoked bacon, onions, my own juicy ripe tomatoes that I grew and roasted making a rich, thick tomato sauce, fresh basil and oregano, new season garlic and a drop of red wine, all layered up with a creamy bechamel sauce, homemade pasta and finally a good thick sprinkle of cheese that's gone all bubbly golden brown....fresh garlic and herb bread, a tossed green salad and now, shall I make some coleslaw too? - there's a mellow red wine to drink with it, and a mango and passionfruit cheesecake to follow.............anyone want to come over?
Sounds absolutely delicious.
Is there something wrong with me? or are there others
that won't eat rubbish.
In the last 10 years I cannot remember having a ready-made meal, not that I'm a cook but my wife won't hear of it and I agree. The only fast food that I eat in restaurants is pizza.
I have never been near a MacDonalds in all of my 63 years.
no
sounds good.
THAT SOUNDS SO GOOD OH MY GOSH!
Yes we want to come over for dinner and no you don't need to make any coleslaw since you have a nice salad. Hope you have a nice rose wine as well. Enjoy
sounds yummy...
I would, but I cant keep from swooning to a faint every time I read your question. Then I would slip on my drool and fall.
Raincheck...ok?
PS. Save the coleslaw for the loosemeat sandys you make for me when watching the Packer game on Saturday.
Please I beg of you, send me some or invite me over. Sounds good. Thats another good way to attract women, is a guy who knows how to cook. It says alot about a man who know how to cook. It says he is sure of himself, has his finances together, and has a good job.
With the correct herbs you have put in and the red wine, it sounds delicious why not. Lay the table and I will be right over. Can I sit opposite lady J G please?
What shall we drink to?
Fantastic !!
Gotta love a great
Lasagna !!
Mmmm !!
COLE SLAW with lasagne? UGH!
How 'bout a nice green salad topped with olive oil and red wine vinegar or lemon juice? Rubbed the salad bowl with a garlic clove for extra flavor.
YUMMY!!! :P
No, don't make coleslaw. You already have a salad made and that is enough. You could add some steamed broccoli or steamed green beans. Sounds good to me. What time is dinner?
Can i bring my jim jam's and stay the night.
I'll have the sofa if you give me your pillow and i'll wash the dishes in the morning.Deal?
big thumbs up on that! Tomorrow im trying spaghetti lasgane(tana ramsay new book) but the bacon sound's tasty coleslaw aint on my menu! and im sure there will b a bottle of wine there 2
I have to admit- the lasagna and the 'drop' of red wine ( did you drink the rest? ) sound great- but coleslaw with lasagna? WHY??? No- the lasagna, bread and salad will be perfect. and I do like the cheesecake idea...though you should serve that with some Ameretto... Manga!!!!!
Sounds fab would love to try it, but its probably all gone by now !
CONGRATULATIONS. At last - someone actually making their OWN food.
Good for you, pat yourself on the back...YOU ARE TOPS..
You get my star for quality....xxx
Your recipe sounds delicious....very similar to mine, but I'm really naughty and make a cheese sauce rather than bechamel.
Congradulations to You!!!You have done an Excellent job!
If you aren't already...you are going to be a very good cook...
Have fun with family and friends!!!
That's not the right way to make lasagne.....
