Question: How come if you make your own popcorn at home with butter and sugar to make it sweet, the stuff at the cinema is much fluffier, better tasting and has delicious crunchy suggary coating that I cant get at home???

Or is it just me?

Its not just you, when i make my own at home its not the same. But then again its like that with most things i try to make myself lol happy catering

just you crazy women!!Lol

get orville reddenbacker with extra butter

Uh, because they have the commercial equipment to make it with.

They use industrial frying grease... theirs may taste better but your is better cause it's healthier.

Try an air popper and then spary some soy sauce on your pop corn for a real treat!

I had popcorn cinemas keep popping up on my browser, think it was a 'trojan'....got rid of it eventually though!....

who knows - they gonna hold on to the secret - but we all know we cannot get the same scrummy taste!

i bought one of those popcorn machines, the kind with the wheels and it's just like the theatre. You can also buy coatings like cinnamon, grape, etc..... Air poopers are not the same as oil poppers. Keep that in mind. Theatre popcorn is popped in oil poppers.

Well, they did pay thousands of dollars for a kick-as* popcorn machine that pops fresh corn like, every 30 seconds.
Maybe if you start trying other kinds of popcorn, like the one you put over the fire. Or, you could open your own popcorn stand and get actual popcorn popper and sell popcorn like at a lemonade stand! hat would be sweet, I'd buy popcorn from a street vendor...

Gie up the sugary stuff. Ye cannae beat a guid dish o' salty popcorn!!!! Almost as guid a s a big bag a whelks frae tha Barras!!! Scrummy salty goodness!!!!!!

Try the website "cooks.com" there are hundreds or recipe variations that you can tweak to make the popcorn you require... good luck
