Grilling Tilapia Fillets recipe?!
Answers: I've never cooked, baked or even grilled fish before. Today will be my first time. I wanted to use my George Foreman grill but I can't seem to find a good recipe for it. Does anyone know what I can add or does anyone have a good recipe?
lemon pepper tillapia
Ok here is what you will need
1 lemon
fresh cracked pepper
salt
of course your tillapia.
1 finely chopped or minced garlic
one hour before you want to lay your tilapia in a glass or ceramic dish. grate a bit of your lemon on the fillets. cut in half the lemon and squeeze the juice on top of the fellets.
sprinkle the pepper and salt and garlic and cover and put in the fridge for an hour.be sure to preheat your grill. I would spray the surface of the grill with cooking spray. Then you want to grill your fish untill it is flaky.
I bought a seafood rub by grill mates. All you do is sprinkle it on the filets and fry for a few minutes on each side. They are done when the fish is white and flakes easy. This was sooooo good and I hate fish. I even gave my mom a jar of this spice to use and she loved it.
try these!
1 (6-ounce) tilapia fillet
Pinch ground cumin
Pinch cayenne pepper
Pinch paprika
Pinch kosher salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
Tilapia Salad, recipe follows
Cashew Yogurt Sauce, recipe follows
Heat the grill. Cut the fillet in 1/2 lengthwise. Lightly season the fish with the cumin, cayenne, paprika, and salt. Coat each piece in olive oil and grill, 3 to 4 minutes on each side. To plate, begin by covering a dinner plate with a layer of cashew yogurt sauce. Place the pieces of grilled tilapia in the center, overlapping one another. Top the fish with the tilapia salad and place the tangerine segments around the plate.

Salt, pepper, cook but my fish monger suggested I saute them, I did they were excellent. Tilapia is very delicate and thin, don't over cook it.
This is a delicious Tilapia recipe:

Although this recipe is using a sauté method of cooking, you can always improvise and use your grill.
Always Enjoy!
