Throw together mac and cheese?!

Question: Can I just use some butter and flour and cook it for a minute, add some cheddar and a splash of milk and mix it all up with some hot macaroni? Will that work and taste pretty good?

Make the roux (melted butter and flour) first, then add milk and cook until it thickens. Then add shredded cheese and melt it in. This is a yummy cheese sauce.

Yep that'll be great!

Flour???????// why

Mix that together before putting on the mac and cheese...i would skip the flour!

You should actually start with a milk and flour mixture and heat it on the stove until it thickens a little bit. Then add the cheese and milk. It should be delicious with slat and pepper, but taste it before you pour it all over the noodles, just to be safe.

Cook the mac, drain, add milk, velveeta, garlic powder, black pepper, Simple

If you're tryna make some "simple" mac and cheese, boil the noodles, drain and put in a oven safe dish. Cut up some velveeta cheese and if you really one add some flavor, use about 3-4 different other cheeses. Add butter and milk and mix it all together...dont worry if the cheese isn't fully melted. Put in the oven for about 10min...you can stir it once it comes out to incorporate everything. I always add about a tablespoon of muster to give it a kick. Sprnkle black pepper on top...good to go!

I make a recipe of white sauce and add cheese to it for Mac and Cheese.

2 Tbs melted butter
2 Tbs flour

Gradually add flour to melted butter and cook for 2-3 minutes but do not brown.

Add:
1 1/4 hot milk (do not boil, just heat until bubbly)

Cook for 2 or 3 minutes and when it comes to a simmer, add 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese and salt and pepper

Cook until smooth, then pour over cooked pasta.
