sirloin is best ,but dont over cook it,,,,,get the skillet really hot toss it in let set a few seconds and turn it then smash it down thin ,flip it one more time when the red is gone remove it quickly,,,then add salt and enything else you might like

i use a ground sirloin and buffalo mixture. lean meat and better for you.

Usually burgers patty meat ingredient is ground beef sauted with spicies in powder form already.

I know that this sounds nuts, but I hate beef! Since I don't eat beef hamburgers, my mom started grounding up chicken and making chicken burgers! They are sooo tasty, especially with BBQ sauce on them. They are healthier too! :) Try it! You'll love it! :)

You could try ground kobe or waygu beef and you'd get an excellant burger. But then you'd also be paying about $22.50 a pound. I think the best tasting burgers come from a combination of ground sirloin and ground pork. You need a little fat to give it a richer flavor.

Without factoring the seasoning, I think ANGUS beef is the best tasting hamburger meat there is in the market right now. McDonald's simply sells them as "Angus third pounders," and Carl's Jr markets them as the "$6 burger." I remember my local Costco Warehouse had carried Angus beef, when I looked at the shopping cart of another shopper, and had seen the package. When I ran back to get one for myself, I learned it had sold out.

I use 85% lean becasue you need some kind of fat in the meat, so it would not dry up. I uselly mix beef with turkey to make a little healthier or a I make it all turkey meat.

I season it with onion, green onion, soy sauce, galic, oregano, ketchup, duck sauce. Delicioso!!!!
