Can homemade rice krispy squares be left outside, or should I store them in the fridge?!
Answers: They are made of rice krispy cereal, marshmallows and butter. Will they go bad if I leave them out?
I wouldnt suggest leaving them out over night uncovered because they have butter in them but you can leave them out overnight if you put them in a container. besides they taste better room temperature
Nope...okay to leave out on the counter although I'd wrap the container with plastic 'cause they'll get really hard really fast!
Outside in an airtight container like Tupperware.
I'd think they would stay even fresher in the frig. in an airtight container too.
No, they don't need refrigerated.
Keep them outside, but in an airtight container. Or cover them tightly w/ Saran Wrap.
If you leave them outside they might get rained on...lol...no really it's ok to not refrigerate them.
i would leave them out of the fridge..just put some Saran wrap over them.
leave outside they're much better and softer--- just wrap them with those clear wrapping wraps. ;-)
i think you can do either... but if you put them in the fridge... they might get hard...=\
If you leave them outside, you'll want to store them in a container that stray and/or wild animals cannot get into. They would eat your rice krispy squares.
no you can leave them out, I would keep them in a zip lock bag though so they will stay fresh
You can leave them out, covered of course. They tend to keep longer and taste a little better if you refrigerate them though.
as long as they are properly wrapped, personally I put them in the fridge they last longer and in my opinion taste better!
You can leave them out and by all means do because they wont last long and you wont have to worry about it. They simply get a little more crispy.
They're fine at room temperature for a couple of days - if they last that long
i leave them out, but cover them
I've always done so. Just make sure you wrap them tightly so they don't dry out. They'll never last long enough to go bad anyways! Mmmmm
I leave them out of the refrigerate but I do put them in a container so they sont go stale but you don't necessarly have to put them in a container it is all a question of 'do you want to or not?' It depends I think on perferences.
yes as long as it is covered properly
Refrigeration is not needed. Butter won't spoil, and the marshmallow creme has enough preservatives in it. Wrap individual squares with Saran Wrap.
i'd say leave them in the fridge, coz i just made some (yummy) chocolate cornflake cakes n left them in the fridge and they're fresh and veery nyyc (if i do say so myself) =D
No need to refrigerate. Keep in an airtight container to keep fresh.
if you keep them in a jar or something like that they should be ok
room temp
