Does anybody have a recipe for?!

Question: a sandwich spread or dressing that would go well with turkey ham and/or roast beef? Any tips would be so much appreciated. Thank you for your help!

Start with 4 ounces softened cream cheese and 1/3C. good mayonnaise. Beat together and add any of the following that suit your individual taste:

1 medium sized cucumber, peeled and seeded 1 tsp. tarragon 1/2 tsp. wasabi powder

3 Tblsp. dried french onion soup mix

1 Tblsp. brown mustard

2 tsps. drained, rinsed and minced capers 1tsp. dried dill few drops hot sauce

1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce 2 tsps. minced garlic 2 Tblsps. finely grated sharp cheddar

1 1/2 Tblsps. horseradish 3 Tblsps. finely minced red onion

If you mix the night before and pull out about 30 minutes or so before you wish to use it, it will have had time for the flavours to meld and be spreadable.

  • Personally I'd just suggest making open faced sandwiches with gravy over them, and perhaps some mashed potatoes on the side. =)

no recipe---but I think the spicy brown mustard is good... kind of has a kick. Sometimes what a plain ol' sandwich needs!

1/2 lb thickly sliced smoked bacon, cut up
1/3 cup Miracle Whip or real mayonnaise
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1/4 teaspoon coarse garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
    pinch of celery seed (optional)
    1-2 large ripe tomatoes

Using kitchen scissors, cut bacon strips into small squares. In a skillet, sauté the bacon until crisp. Drain on a paper towel.
In a medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, sour cream, pepper, celery seed and garlic powder.

Remove seeds from a very ripe fresh tomato and cut into cubes. In a pinch, canned tomatoes may be substituted; drain liquid and reserve for another use to prevent the spread from becoming watery.

    Make a nice honey mustard....

try a spread made of mayo, mustard, and horseradish. blend till smooth, and use on the bread, or even as a dip with veggies.

For all of those meats I love any kind of mustard. You can buy a horseradish mustard in the grocery store that is excellent on all those meats! It has a nice little kick to the taste.

For turkey, equal parts mustard and miracle whip and roast beef a mild horesradish or cheese sauce.

Mix some roasted red peppers and green onions with your favorite salsa. Black olives are also a great addition if yoy like them!

you could make a sandwich with
    pesto
    turkey
    white bread(like sourdough)
    sundried tomatoes
    tomatoes
    mozzarella

    Mushroom spread..
    2 cups mayonnaise
    10 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
16 ounces canned mushroom stems and pieces
    2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 package dry Italian salad dressing mix
    paprika
In a medium bowl, mix well the mayonnaise, cheeses, mushrooms and salad dressing mix.
Put into a shallow 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, until bubbly around the edges.

Prepare the tuna salad. Chop onions and garlic. Combine one can drained tuna in water with garlic and onions. Add mayo. Salt and pepper to taste. A few splashes of italian salad dressing. A few shakes of rosemary and garlic powder. One lime zest/juice. Combine all ingredients. Chill.
    Hard boil/slice one egg.
Slice favorite cheese or buy presliced.
    Toast favorite bread/bagel type.
Spread tuna salad mixture on both sides of bread.
Layer turkey cold cut and egg and/or cheese between slices.
    Eat and enjoy.

A horseradish type sauce would be excellent!

Shake together: olive oil, grainy mustard, a little red wine vinegar, minced garlic, minced onions and parley, coarse ground pepper. Drizzle over thinly sliced turkey ham or roast beef that's arranged on top of salad greens, quartered hardboiled eggs and boiled potatoes. A complete, ehalthy meal.

cream cheese and chives in a tortilla

Turkey, I like a barbeque sauce.

Ham, nothing better than mayo and deli mustard

Roastbeef, a horseradish mayo gives it a great kick

herb flavored cream cheese is good on chicken, ham, and turkey. so is pesto and mayo. for roast beef I'd mix mayo, black pepper, dejon mustard, and horse raddish.
