Thanx!=]
Answers: What are your really yummy/good recipes for milkshakes or smoothies?Wthout 5 cups of sugar?
Thanx!=]
the way I do it is easy and good without all that sugar and other stuff
Frozen strawberries (they need to be frozen)
skim milk or what ever you use
1 cup of the berries in the blender and add about the same amount of milk
use the pluse setting
if you want it very thick like soft serve icecream use a rubber spatula and stir it between blendings.
if you want it thinner just add more milk
if you want more strawberry flavour thaw some of the berries before using them. But you do need some of them to be frozen to thicken it.
you can add 1/3 of a fresh banana.
another kind
use 1 cup of ice and add
3/4 of orange juice and what ever fruit you like
you can also do the same with pineapple juice.
experiment with different flavours.
I use what I have on hand
for a sweet treat without the guilt
the juice I use is either the Pc brand or ocean spray 100% juice blends read the lable to make sure that no sugar is added
1 cup of frozen berries I use the black berry/raspberry/blue berry they have at cosco
and add 1/2 cup of one of the juice blend what ever one appeals to you.
put in blender again use the rubber spatula add just enough juice so that it tunnels when on
you can eat this right away to have like a slushy or make a bunch of it and put in it small containers and freeze for when you want a sweet treat.
this will hit the spot when you want something sweet but do not want the guilt
When i make milkshakes, its typically my fav ice cream and just enough milk to blend it and give it a nice consistency. For smoothies, my fav's probably frozen strawberries, fresh bananas, blended with some orange juice.
I usually make milkshakes. 8 oz milk, one scoop of ice cream and one tablespoon of Carnation Malted Milk Powder, mix it up in the blender.
8 oz fat free low calorie vanilla yogurt
4 oz fresh strawberries
4 oz crushed ice
Blend in blender until smooth.
use strawberries, yogurt, pineapple juice and a banana. You will need no sugar it has natural sugar. unless you just want it sweet. you can add honey . ENJOY!!!!!
throw a slice of cheesecake in a blender with some ice cream....slightly orgasmic
wow nice question girl but you can use a 4 oz fresh strawberries and a 8 oz fat free low calorie vanilla yogurt and plus you can also use pineapple juice or a banana and plus you don't need to add no sugar because it has natural sugar. unless you just want to add a lilttle sweet to the flavor then you can go right ahead by just adding some honey and it will come out just fine and good luck with your Milkshake girl LOL one and i hope that things go well and take care.
I like to make my milkshakes with pudding mix.
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup milk
2 tbsp. of your favorite instant pudding mix
Blend together in blender. For thicker milkshakes, add a little more pudding mix
fruit with milk=)and some sugar or fruit with vanilla ice cream
