British Recipe for Sausage Stuffing Balls?!
Answers: When I lived in England for a while, several times I was served these things people kept calling sausage stuffing balls. They seemed mostly like small balls of sausage, but were hot and had some herbs and, I dunno, breadcrumbs or something in them? Anyone out there know what I'm talking about and can recommend a good recipe for them? All my friends and family I've asked back in England keeps saying they bought theirs at a grocery store. I've found nothing like that here in the stores, so I'd like to make them. Help!
Yes i know what you are talking about!
Can you get sage and onion stuffing? If not these are the things you need to make your stuffing balls.
Sausages, which you take the meat out of the skin. Some fresh bread crumbs (about a handful) some fresh herbs, sage, and other mixed herbs. one egg to bind the mixture together. Then form the mixture into balls and bake in the oven for 30 to 45 mins.
If you can get a packet stuffing mixture then mix your sausage meat with that. Your friends could always send you that.
Enjoy!
