What shall I have for lunch?!


Question: There's hardly any food in the house, I'm hungover, and craving something refreshing + salady, but we don't really have any!

We have:
bread
red peppers
onions
baby tomatos
cheese that's gone a bit skanky
block of tofu
olives
bolognaise sauces
tom. soup

A few other basics. I can't think of a nice lunch =( I'm veggie btw.

Cut the tomatoes in halves or wedges and toss them with some salt, black pepper and olive oil, add a little sliced onion, olives and some peppers IF you have time to roast them first. Add some herbs like basil or oregano if you've got them.
Rub a slab of toast with the cut edge of a garlic clove and pile the tomato mixture on top. YUM!
I don't know much about using tofu, but I'm guessing you could chuck some of that in too to beef it up a bit, or you could melt a little cheese on top.

Maybe a sandwich? Use the bread and peppers, and if you have any comdiments like mayo or something.

Suggest you go shopping xD

chop and combine the veggies and tofu, and add a sauce if you like
Then, make toast and dip in the tomato soup

Order out!
