The best sauce for a fish finger butty?!


Question: I can't deide on tomato or mayo....some like brown sauce, tartare, spicy sauce etc...

our household is split down the middle.
the clever pretty half like tomato.
the beastly boy half like mayo.
it also depends on the quality of said fish finger.
asda smart price they need a good half bottle of tom sauce.
birds eye 'in batter' need only a suggestion nay a 'soupcon'
of the tom sauce.
i feel i could expand further on this topic which worries me so i shall just leave it there.ahem.

Heinz Tomato Ketchup. Mayonnaise is too new wave for something as old skool as a fish finger butty.
Brown sauce - wrong!
Tartare sauce - it's not restaurant food!
Spicy sauce - what are you thinking of? Do you think Captain Birds Eye has spicy sauce?

either tom sauce..or salt and vinegar.. depending on my mood and the fish finger

I think I'd make a parsley sauce and toast the bread, with a little garnish of lettuce and cucumber.

my favourite is definaley red sauce

You have to have salad cream with a fish finger butty, plus salt and vinegar.

Tartare sauce is the best.
