YOU HAVE TO HAD MADE THE RECIPE BEFORE YOU ANSWER. I DOTN WANT TO END UP HAVING SOME 10 YEAR OLD GIMME A RECIPE THAT HE HAS NEVER TRIED IN HIS LIFE.

after you boil them, smash lightly with a masher or fork. Add butter, cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and stir well.

Salt and pepper to taste.

small container sour cream
1 stick butter
1 jar Real Bacon bits
1 bag Cheddar cheese

Leave the skins on and mash them with garlic, olive oil, Romano cheese, fresh ground pepper and onion and a dash of red wine vinegar.

Cut them into slices, cover with thickened cream, sprinkle grated cheese & chopped bacon pieces on top. Bake in medium-hot oven till brown on top.

Parsley buttered potatoes are simple with what you've got going...just add some butter, parsley and a little salt and toss until the butter melts. Fresh or dried parsley works.

I love Au Gratin potatoes and those need the potatoes boiled before hand, so that might work for you if you want something a little more involved than the simple parslay buttered potatoes. We had some of mine au gratins for Wed. dinner with baked ham and steamed green beans with onion. skin and cube your potatoes after they're boiled. Saute (on medium heat in a large skillet that has a lid) some diced onions, green pepper and red pepper (or pimento) in some bacon fat (or oil if you don't have or want the bacon fat, but it really adds flavor). When the veggies are nice and soft, add a couple tablespoons of flour to the pan and stir well. When that's all combined and the flour is slightly browned (you've just made a roux, but left the veggies in there also), add about 2 cups milk. Stir well and bring all of it to a boil to cook the flour. Turn down heat to medium. Add about a cup of shredded or diced cheddar or American cheese. When the cheese has melted, add the cubed potatoes and stir until well blended. Turn heat down to low and cover until heated through. You might want to make a little less of the cheese sauce than I've indicated since you don't have all that many potatoes. Or keep the extra sauce to use on cauliflower or broccoli, etc.

Hope you enjoy these Au Gratins either now or in the future!

If you have some onion and bacon, cabbage is optional.

Don' t overboil the potatoes, after they're cooked cut them up into bite size piece.

In a fry pan saute the onions and bacon, add shredded cabbage, (if you want) now add the potatoes and fry until potatoes golden brown. I add salt, pepper and some paprika. You can add herbs of you choice

My family likes this, okay cold too.

If you have non of the above, try butter, or sour cream with coleslaw and grated cheese.

Mash the potatoes and put bolognese sauce on top.

How about a salad with the potatoes.
