It's not exactly chinese, but Thai Thai (which makes Thai food) has been the absolute best I've every had. Something like the Shrimp Green Curry.
I've tried a lot, but only Thai Thai actually smells and tastes like something you'd get in a restaurant.
What makes Chinese food special is that is made of fresh ingredients - and relies on their crispness. Once you freeze it, you're back to mush again.
Wong Wing has excellent S&S chicken balls and pineapple chicken balls but the rest is mediocre.
None are any good, in my opinion. Good oriental food is quick and easy to prepare, why would you want frozen anyway? If I wanted Chinese and did not want to fix it fresh, I would go to Chung King.
If you have Trader Joe's near you that wins hands down. They have everything from fried rice to General's chicken.
Frozen dumplings are your best bet. There are many different varieties - veg, meat, ck, shp... Plus these keep well in the freezer. You can have them boiled or fried. It takes about 10-15 minutes to boil. If you prefer fried, be sure to boil them first, drain then pan fry on a skillet with some oil. Serve with dumpling sauce or with soy sauce. I like adding minced garlic with my dumpling sauce.
My husband loves Ling Ling's dumplings. I like the coconut shrimps.
