What's the future potential for solar ovens in developing countries?!

Question: Little to none with current technology. Solar power generates very little electrical current and is often used to charge batteries. Oven require a great deal of electrical power to operate.
Microwaves are probable more viable, as some sailboats use solar panels to generate DC current, which is stored in batteries, and coverted to AC power - on demand - to operate microwave ovens.
Still not a very efficent method and certainly not available for continuous use. No sun rays, no power.

Zero zip zippo.

Why in developing countries........don't mean to be politically incorrect, BUT this is the food forum, and why not start out by using them [solar ovens]HERE first?? It would take a tremendous load of our antiquated and overloaded electrical trunk that runs through this country.......I still can't understand why we turn a blind eye to this countrie's homeless, poor, illiterate, medically uninsured..........We need to start on our own doorstep first.......IMO.....
