Can you use baking powder instead of baking soda for cookies?!
Answers: Would it have the same result? There for oatmeal cookies.Thank you.
It won't be exactly the same, but it would be better that leaving it out. Use a tad more powder than the soda called for in the recipe.
No, they do two different things!
Not unless called for...different.
no you actually think something is the same between those 2???
No, they are two seperate things.
No, they have two completely different uses. If you do that, your cookies are sure to turn out horrible!
well i have tried it and it caqme out a tad different just add a little bit less of baking soda than the recipe calls for if you don't have baking powder. add a little bit because if you put extra then you will have sour and nasty cookies
