Would you eat something cooked in a stranger's oven?!

Question: I'm one of those people who is very observant. When we have potlucks at work or parties, I'm realllllyyyy picky about who food I eat. I'm not ashamed to ask who cooked what...

If I really know the person and I've seen them cook, and I know how they are,..then I might eat some of their food. But, if it's people like I see walking around at my job that I barely speak to and they've walked out the restroom a couple of times without washing their hands...or they're scratching or digging..lol...then I definitely dont eat.

People look at me crazy at work when we have potlucks cause I ask were is the store bought food....my mom just taught me and my sister certain things...

1)Dont eat at everybody's house & 2)Don't sit on other people's toilets...squat!

Annnndddd I'm verrrryy careful if they have animals in their house..some people like to rub on their animals and go straight back to preparing or cooking or let their cats and dogs jump on the counters and crap. One girl invited me over and she was cooking a Puerto Rican dinner which I was sooo craving..she had birds in her house..and she was rubbing and kissing on them and didnt wash her hands..went right back to preparing the food. I left fast!

Yes.

no

A stranger is someone you have been introduced to as yet

Sure, but I hate using other people's utensils, they can be weirdly shaped and I'm not used to them.

no, i don't no what might of been in there.!

I don't even eat from my own oven unless it's been bleached 15 times per hour. On the hour.

You eat at restaurants right?

If it was food cooked in there. If you eat in restaurants you eat food cooked in stranger's ovens all the time........Odd question for sure.

NO, they could have poisoned it or something!

When you go to a restaurant do you know personally or are related to the chef/owner? of course not. so to answer your question of course you could eat from a strangers oven.

sure... what possible reason could you have to be afraid of someone else's oven?

The high heat would kill off anything that was in there...

Nope..

no way...if it is a stranger, I don't know them. So I wouldn't trust them.
I taught my kids not to talk to strangers, so why would I go one step further?
creepy....that means I am with them alone...in their house...and with whatever...whomever...they cooked/baked/roasted...

i woudn't make a habit of it, but if you're hungry enough...

i know it's scary. If you know them or have been in there house and it look's clean yah go ahead. My husband's aunt and uncle dont clean there house so i dont like to eat there food. lol. but they dont know that.
