Culinary summer camp for teens?!
I don't have a whole lot of money to spend on the camp. In the searches I've done, all the camps are about $2000 and far away - I could probably manage to pay $700 if it's close enough that I didn't have to pay for plane tickets (But if you know of a camp that's not near me yet is relatively inexpensive, post it anyway, my parents might be willing to pay for the plane tickets).
I live in Northern Virginia. Somewhere in Virginia, Wash DC, or Maryland would be ideal. The Raleigh/Durham North Carolina area might work as well since I have family there. I know there are a lot in Chicago but all the ones I found were too expensive.
I know these are terribly specific guidelines but I'm hoping someone will have previous knowledge of a camp or at least better luck searching than I did. Please no answers saying I'm too specific and there's nothing. :)
Answers: I'm 16 and would love to go to a culinary summer camp or "boot camp" specifically one for bread, bread and pastry, or even just baking.
