Why do you always get some raw chipe when cooking oven chips?!

You should arrange them on a flat oven tray so that they don't overlap, that's why some of them don't cook. I always cook mine on 220 degrees for around 25 minutes and they are perfect everytime, they taste much better than fried and, as you have already said are much healthier!

oven chips take about 45mins to cook in the oven

I always find that the chips are always ready before everything else or end up taking another ten minutes after everything else is ready.

Try turning them halfway through cooking and make sure theyre not all cramped together and overlapping.

I only use oven chips and have never had a problem with them. I follow the instructions on the packet and turn them 1/2 way through cooking. I use mcCain's Home fries, chunky cut, they take 24 minutes at Gas 9, 240 degrees C

Maybe its because some of them get caught under some of the others
