Deceptively Delicious cookbook, is it worth buying?!

Question: If so what are your favorite recipes you've tried from it?

Answers: If so what are your favorite recipes you've tried from it?

Yes, I received this cookbook for Christmas and have enjoyed reading it so far. There are some great tips and info-not just recipes. I've only made the avocado dip and it was delish.

I'm looking forward to making all the recipes and trying them out on some picky eaters I know who eat NO veggies.

If you have a Sam's Club membership it was only around 16.00.

The cookbook by Jessica Seinfeld (wife of Jerry Seinfeld) has very similar recipes to one written a few months earlier by Missy Chase Lapine - Sneaky Chef. In fact, Lapine is taking the Seinfelds to court. Jessica for plagiarism and Jerry for defamation. Jerry Seinfeld suggested that Lapine was mentally ill and compared her to the murderers of Martin Luther King Jr and John Lennon. A bit extreme.

As far as the recipes (in both books), you puree various vegetables and add them to recipes. For example, you might puree spinach and add that to brownies. Blend squash and add to macaroni and cheese.

Unless you really hate vegetables, they taste better to eat them as vegetables rather than hide them in other foods.
