Well first are you need to set the temperature to 350 and put a meat thermometer into it and cook it until it reads 170.

we cook ours about 2 hours on 350

Because recipe's and ovens vary... (temperature vs. time), it would be much wiser to determine the length of cooking by using a thermometer. There are standard minimum temperatures various meats must reach in order to be healthy and safe for consumption.

Here is a guide:

USDA Recommended Safe Minimum Internal Temperatures

* Steaks & Roasts - 145 °F
* Fish - 145 °F
* Pork - 160 °F
* Ground Beef - 160 °F
* Egg Dishes - 160 °F
* Chicken Breasts - 165 °F
* Whole Poultry - 165 °F

Rub it down with honey and mustard and place it in a baking dish. Cover tightly with foil and put it in the oven @ 250 degrees for 5 hours.

Tasty every time and tender.

It can cook all day while you are at work or not.

I know this may sound wierd but it turns out so yummy every time.

Use your CrockPot. Put the roast in with a can of Coke and a package of onion soup mix. Tasty Tasty

Cook to 140F deg and tent with foil rest 15-20 min.
