Is this dinner healthy?!

Question: I made a salad with "sweet butter" lettuce, with grilled chicken, carrots, onions, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese (not much), and i used the dip fork technique on light italian dressing. I ate a lean cuisine meal which was 150 calories. then I had 1 slice of italian bread with a spread of smart balance butter. Is this okay to eat? I am also drinking water. I just want to eat healthier

I eat Lean Cuisine's everyday for lunch and I would like to know which one it was that was only 150 calories. All the ones I find are 220-340 calories.

And yes, of course that's a healthy dinner.

Thank you!

Sounds like healthy choices!

Everything looks pretty good. Except the Italian bread (lots of carbs) and I don't like any sort of non-real butter. Is Smart Balance butter (with nutrients added) or is it margerine? You'll probably want to stay away from margerine. I really don't think it's good for you. You're doing great! Keep it up.

yes that sounds very healthy. & it's good that you're eating a little bit of bread b/c no matter what people say you do need a little bit of carbs. they give u energy.

Its pretty healthy but lean cuisine though its "lean", its also full of sodium which we eat too much of. As long as you enjoy and maximize on fresh, clean natural ingredients, you should benefit from it.

Theres nothing wrong with a frozen dinner for a quick easy meal especially if you supplement it with veggies but just watch your sodium intake.

sounds ok but i would of made it from scratch! heh heh im a chef we do that kinda stuff!

i think that is healthy......mmmmm now ur making me hungry!!
:)

I don't really think it is a healthy dinner, because even thought you are eating a healthy meal, you are eating WAY too much for dinner. Either eat the salad with the bread, or the sandwich, not both. Eating healthy also means using good portion control and eliminated unnessessary food items in a meal, not just eating healthier.

Sounds fairly healthy to me, but pretty boring. I don't see why you'd want cheese on a salad. And unless I'm wrong, you had a chicken salad, then a lean cuisine meal which was something else again? And then some bread? Why did you want that many courses? Sounds like the salad would have been enough, if you'd just made it a bit bigger and added more chicken and vegetables. You don't know what's in those lean cuisine things, and personally I think they taste really bad.

Sounds really healthy. You should be proud of yourself. Keep eating a small amount of carbs. No matter what any one says, you need them for energy. Good luck!

Yes it is a healthy meal. It would taste a whole lot better though with more cheddar cheese on it.
