Look at recipezaar.com. You could even put in how many calories per serving you want. You could choose how many ingredients you want to use. A lot of different ways to look up recipes.

Just leave out empty calories, anything white (like sugar, flour, etc) and use food from the outside walls of the market: fresh produce, dairy, meats, eggs, and don't indulge in those processed foods in the cans and boxes. :)
I like to make home made veggie soup but when I need it in a hurry, I skimp on some of my ingredients. This is my hurry up recipe:
Two 16 oz bags of frozen mixed vegetables
1-1 1/2 lb of ground chuck browned and drained. (I cook the chopped onion with the ground chuck)
2 or 3 -15 oz cans of diced tomatoes
1 small to med onion chopped
3 cups of beef broth ( keep broth cubes on hand to make my broth with)
1 cup of macaroni (cook prior to adding to soup to remove much of the starch, drain and add to other ingredients.
May add some water if needed to thin
Salt and pepper to taste
If you prefer, you can use chicken breast cubed, and use chicken broth instead of beef.
You can add any other veggies you may have on hand. I prefer frozen ones, but have used canned veggies in a pinch.
Bring to boil, and turned heat down to simmer for half an hour.
go to weightwatchers.com...you can look at recipes for free...and they are REALLY tasty....
