Answers: I have the basics, eggs, sausage, cheddar cheese.

Thank you!

I've made this and it's fantastic. It's easy and the web site is worth keeping a bookmark on.

One great thing about the website is, you can enter the number of people you're feeding and it automatically changes the ingredient amounts.

do ya got potatoes?

here's wot i do:

peel and dice some potatoes, and zap in mricwave until just tender (don't over cook), drain off water.

heat a fry pan with some oil, (olive oil is nice)
throw in potatoes and onions chopped (if you have), throw in your saussage too.

you can also throw in red and green peppers if you have on hand.
mix that up, and let the potatoes get crispy. crack some eggs and add to top. let that cook until eggs are set. top with cheese.

voila.

This my recipe! I take six eggs cook the sausage add it into the egg and chedder cheese and onion powder mix all together pore into casserole dish bake at 350 for 25-30 min or until the middle is set and it is golden brown on top serve with toast or biscuts!

BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

18 eggs
2 lbs hot ground sausage
2 small cans green chiles
shredded cheddar cheese

Spray 9x13 pan with non-stick spray. Brown sausage with green chiles. Drain.
Scramble, in a bowl, all 18 eggs. Pour a little more than half the eggs into the cake pan. Layer sausage on the eggs. Layer as much cheese as you want on top of the sausage. Pour the rest of the eggs over the top.

Bake at 350F degrees until the top is brown and the eggs are cooked.

This is great for the Atkins diet. This can be cooked in a sealable pan, placed in the refrigerator and then cut a piece every morning for breakfast.

It's great re-heated!!!! Enjoy!

Note: You can reduce the size of this recipe by using the ingredients list below instead of those above:

9 eggs
1 lb. hot ground sausage
1 small can green chiles
shredded cheddar cheese

You can substitute the cheddar for the monterey jack. I have this cookbook and just made it for my husband, I found their cookbook online. It is the same recipe I used. It's really good. They also have a recipe for a Ham and Asparagus strata that is excellent too.

If you have Bisquick in the cupboard....

Follow the directions for the Impossible Cheesburger Pie, however substitute the hamburger w/ your sausage.

This is soooo delicious and easy.

Try this:

Egg Casserole

6 Hash Brown Patties
Half pound of cooked bacon or box of brown and serve sausage
10 eggs

? cup of shredded cheese (swiss or mild cheddar cheese)

Grease bottom of a 9x13 pan, preheat oven to 350 degrees

Put hash browns in pan and bake for about 10 minutes, break them up with a fork
Beat eggs and milk, pour over hash browns
Add cooked bacon or, if you are using sausage, cook in microwave for two minutes or until they start to brown, slice.
Mix in the shredded cheese and bake for 30-40 minutes until eggs are firm
