Can you freeze homemade alfredo sauce, and for how long?!

Question: The homemade is the tricky part. Just what exactly is in it?
If it contain a soft cheese like Ricotta, cream or milk, Romano or similar cheeses, all are freezable items. I would say to wrap carefully or store it in a container that does not have an air space. Careful it does not pick up the flavor of other frozen items. Then I would say safely you can store it up to six months.

sure you can.

up to a year but it never stays in my freezer that long!

Yes you can, and for quite a while, but I suggest you don't let it sit around for more than 3-4 weeks because it could lose its' consistency and a bit of its' flavor.

sure you can...and up to a year but dont wait to long or it wont taste as good as the first time....and it would be hard to defrost if you were planning to use it again..

yes you can, but when you thaw and use it, it doesn't have the same texture, not as smooth, a little grainy. taste is mostly the same. I have never kept mine for longer than two months.
