Pasta with Garlic and Olive Oil. Very quick and simple and delicious.
Boil 1 box (pound) of pasta - any shape you like.
While it is boiling, cut up 5-10 cloves of garlic (depending on how garlicy you like it) and slice the garlic into little pieces.
Sautee the garlic in a good amount of olive oil (never measured - I'd guess about 1/3 of a cup.
Season with salt and pepper.
When the pasta is done, drain it, keeping about a cup of the pasta water.
Put the garlic and olive oil in the pot the pasta was cooking in, then put the pasta back in that pot and mix, sort of frying the pasta a bit.
Turn off the heat and mix in the past water.
Sprinkle some chopped (or dried) parsely on top
Serve with lots of grated romano cheese on top.
It basically takes however long it is to boil water and cook pasta. My wife loves this, we make it all the time, usually with some sauteed broccoli raab.

Manicotti, chicken sliced, salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese........
I just make pasta like I would spaghetti but with pasta noodles instead of the long angel hair ones. I like the twisty ones the best.
You don't even have to use meat, just boil the noodles drain and add the sauce until hot. I think its delicious.
we use packaged mushroom soup with less water to make a thick sauce and add sauted veg to it.
use the vegetable rotini ( different colors) and add tomatoes, cucumbers, onions optional, and Italian dressing. stir well!!
delicious if you put bite size pieces of chicken in it too.
8 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
3 (6 ounce) cans white tuna, drained and flaked
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen green peas
2 teaspoons dried dill weed
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups French-fried onions
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni pasta and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, stir together the tuna, cream of mushroom soup, cheese and peas. Season with dill and pepper then add the drained macaroni and stir to coat. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until heated through. Sprinkle the French-fried onions on top and return to the oven for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Chicken Alfredo!
you need: Bowties, Alfredo Sauce (comes in many varieties, four cheese, regular, butter garlic, etc.), Grilled chicken strips, sliced mushrooms, and frozen, fresh, broccoli.
You can get this all at Wal-mart, m'dear. Follow the instructions on the pack of noodles and broccoli, then set that aside. Saute' your mushrooms and chicken with butter, then simmer it with the sauce (Try to find already cooked chicken, Tyson is good) then, when it's all cooked, combine everything! And there you go!
My boyfriend loves it with Parmesan cheese on top!
And damn! all these recipes sound delicious!
ramen noodles
cook angel noodles for 3 minutes and pour Ragu sauce over it (for spaghetti) or
cook elbow noodles for 5 minutes and pour spaghetti sauce over it or
cook elbow noodles for 5 minutes and pour any kind of cheese sauce over it and add some shrimp or
fry some rice and add some (frozen) veggies to it
none of the above takes over 10 minutes to fix
These days no one can really splurge by using a lot of ingredients. And, you should keep your meals at home costing $3 or less. The above costs from 50 cents to $2
This is very good.... you can also use shrimp instead of chicken if you like. You can also pre-cook your chicken the night before so all you have to do is cook the fettuccini and throw it all together when you come home.
Herbed Chicken Fettuccine
1 to 2 teaspoons salt-free seasoning blend (like Mrs. Dash)
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch strips
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
4 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
2/3 cup water
2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons onion soup mix
1 envelope savory herb and garlic soup mix, divided
8 ounces uncooked fettuccine or pasta of your choice
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine seasoning blend and poultry seasoning; sprinkle over chicken. In a skillet, saute chicken in oil and 2 tablespoons butter for 5 minutes or until juices run clear. Add the water, teriyaki sauce, onion soup mix and 2 tablespoons herb and garlic soup mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the fettuccine according to package directions. Drain; add to the chicken mixture. Add cheese, Worcestershire sauce, remaining butter, and remaining herb and garlic soup mix; toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.
Cheesy Butter Garlic Noodles are my favorite--
Take any type of noodle (I usually use- Spaghetti or elbow mac) ... cook until tender...
Add butter--depends on the amount of noodles...well coat noodles
1/4 tea. Garlic powder
1/2 C. Parmesan Cheese (Kraft's the BEST!)
OMG--to die for!!! You can add veggies & meat if you like too. For a lemony hint--add a touch of lemon juice. Yumm-O!

For a box-standard tomato pasta sauce. I used a tin of chopped tomatoes & peppers with chilli, a small carton of passata, 2 cloves of garlic and an onion. Pretty simple, can be frozen and other things later added. I always like to add sundried tomatoes to my sauces
For a nice richer sauce I use passata, sundried tomatoes, a splash of dry white wine, 2 cloves of garlic and skinned peppers. For this cut up some peppers lay on the grill to blister the skins black, transfer them to a sandwich bag and tie up, so it steams for a while. Get the onion going, add the garlic, add the passata. Back to the peppers, the skin should peel off now, slice up finer then throw into the sauce with the sundried tomatoes. Splash of wine. Let simmer for a bit.
First buy frozen ravioli boil it for a few minutes, while that is boiling brown some ground beef with a little garlic then add a jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce drain the ravioli and place it in a baking tray add the sauce and top it with mozzarella and bake util the cheese is melted.
