Anyone have a degree in culinary arts?Did you get a Certificate, Associates or Bacholors? Was it worth it?!


Question: I got a BS in Hospitality and a minor in Culinary cooking at F.I.U.
Hotel and restaurant is a strong industry...You never have to worry about finding a job. They will ALWAYS be there.
I was able to become a restaurant General Manager for a major restaurant Chain....Then I moved into Hotel as a restaurant manager, Catering Manager and finally as a Food and Beverage Director ( big bucks)
However, the best job I had was Purchasing agent for a hotel.
