How do you open a banana?!

Question: I went to the store and bought a banana. I've used knives, forks, and even running over my banana with my wagon and it won't open!

Make sure your knives are all sharp. A dull knife will cut you as easy as a sharp one can.

Now carefully take the banana in one hand, and with the other fingers of your other hand break the stem over and peel it!

wow are you serious?? I usually use my nail, and a knife if that doesn't work. i'm not sure what else to do...

Just cut it open horizontally right below where the stem meets the fruit with a paring knife and peel open.

to open a banana you grab the top of the banana and pull down and it opened

Use your K9 tooth, but not too hard on your teeth, easy now just stick your mouth over the stem and break the skin seal enough with your K9 to split it, then use your hands and open voila

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO!!!

Twist the tip of the banana. it will crack open.

A co-worker of mine opens them at the opposite end, I thought it was wierd but actually does open easier than the stem. Just insert fingernail and peel back.

You either bought very green bananas or you may have bought a plantain. The latter is to be cooked like potatoes since they are hard and very starchy. If they are regular bananas, peel them from the stem end. Make sure they are unloaded first...you wouldn't want it to go off on you unexpectedly now!
